I'm going to have to respectfully side with Webster on this one. I have to Fetzer for years about the role of the Hegelian Dialectic as it pertains to politiks. This Obama thing has given me the willies as well. I don't think he's as charismatic as people say, he's kind of a Dufus. Like a grown up Steve Urkel. His speeches are full of empty rhetoric and people comparing him to Reagan and even JFK in his delivery are just plain nuts. its his eyes that creep me out...its almost as if he's fighting back the evil. The main thing is that they have lowered the expectations with Bush. Anyone who can string together a complete sentence without mispronouncing words seems like the second coming of Christ....er rather the Antichrist.
