Is it a matter of illusion of our own power?
Or the elite throwing us a bone.

Is there any difference between our two parties?
and what will ultimately be the the third option that the sheeple will unwittingly flock too.

Sheeple or unwitting dupes?

In the end, both parties are being financially backed by the same interests. Although, surficially, they say different things, the things that actually happen are only things that will not threaten the interests of those who back them.

Is this system something people willingly ignore or is this system something that people are just knowing about? I would argue against using words like Sheeple because they imply that most people realize the dupe for what it is and choose to go along.

From what I have seen, as people learn the nature of this beast, they really do become incensed by it, but they often do not have an avenue to express this...

Except on the internet...;)

Both sides have special

Both sides have special interest groups. While the Republicans obviously have one group of weapon producers the Democrats have another. It is basically similar to two fractions of the sith. Neither party has a real interest in the public and are pushing for their favorites.
