Now tell me this isn't blatant

what you see there is a lightning bolt most likely signifying the Zeus or Jove
the king of the gods. More specifically it signifies this god's dark side and a malicious wielding of his absolute power. This symbol along side the more known SS symbols runic meaning was used, I am reasonably sure, with this dual meaning intended

The Nazi sported the double Sowilo
Sowilo was a sigel or Rune that was used by the Nordic people to connote the Goddess Sol who was the goddess of the sun
(as an aside it is interesting to note that the Norse deified the sun in the feminine)
In modern occultism the sun would be considered the Godhead and thus Zeus. However we see these symbols co-mingling in a symbol which has become synonymous with fascism
why would the British choose the lightning bolt to place on the arm of their riot control officers if they weren't trying to symbolize ultimate power?
